A TrustID digital certificate from IdenTrust | DST is the tool that verifies
identity in digital transactions. The level of trust created by
a digital certificate is dependent on two things: the authentication
procedures the certification authority (CA) uses to verify identity
and the service guarantees the CA offers to back up that authentication.
IdenTrust | DST is the only CA that uses the same robust procedures to verify
every TrustID certificate applicant with the highest level of certainty,
and offers built-in financial guarantees to TrustID certificate
holders and entities who rely on TrustID certificates.
IdenTrust | DST offers three types of TrustID certificates: Personal, Business,
and Server Certificates.
TrustID® Personal Certificate
This certificate enables you to authenticate yourself in personal
transactions to gain access to restricted Web sites, and to send and receive e-mail communications.
$24.00 -- One-year validity
TrustID® Business Certificates
This certificate enables you to authenticate yourself as an employee
of a valid business in online transactions, to gain access to restricted
Web sites, and to send and receive e-mail communications.
To approve your application for a TrustID business certificate,
we will confirm the validity of your organization and its support
of your application.
$175.00 -- One-year validity
TrustID Server Certificate
This certificate secures and authenticates a Web or network server
using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. To approve your application

your organization, its ownership of the domain name you wish to

browsers and servers.
