FEDERAL CLIENTS
General Services Administration:
The U.S. General Services Administration selected IdenTrust|DST as the first
awardee of an Access Certificates for Electronic Services (ACES)
contract. Under terms of this contract IdenTrust|DST is able to issue digital
certificates to the American public on behalf of federal government
agencies. A person who has been issued an ACES certificate will
be able to use that certificate with any ACES-enabled application
of all participating government agencies, thus eliminating the need
to have a different certificate for working with each agency.
To apply for an ACES certificate, or find out
more about the program, please visit www.trustdst.com/federal/aces_public_1.html.
Federal Emergency Management Agency:
FEMA's National Emergency Information System is using digital certificates
to allow emergency managers at participating Federal, State and
local government agencies to access several critical databases and
Web sites.
EPA
IdenTrust|DST will develop and implement the necessary infrastructure within the EPA to support the agency's Central Data Exchange (CDX) and issue digital certificates to individuals at businesses choosing to participate in the program.
Department of Defense
IdenTrust|DST will issue IECA digital certificates to DoD trading partners
for use in the agency's electronic commerce programs including the
Defense Travel System, Wide Area Workflow Program, and Electronic
Document Access. IdenTrust|DST will also host and manage the repository for
certificates it issues to the DoD community. Contractors, vendors,
and other interested parties may use certificates obtained from
IdenTrust|DST and the other IECAs to transact electronic business with DoD
entities.
To apply for a digital certificate under the DoD
IECA program, please visit www.trustdst.com/federal/dod_1.html.
National Institute of Health
IdenTrust|DST is helping NIH develop approaches to enable electronic grant
administration processes. IdenTrust|DST will help NIH to electronically create,
distribute, and sign forms within its Committee Management system
as well as enable the research community to submit and sign pilot
NIH grant applications electronically via the Internet.
